PHANTOM-X Joined By SOLITUDE AETURNUS Drummer

August 12, 2008

PHANTOM-X, the Dallas, Texas-based band featuring former OMEN singer Kevin Goocher, has issued the following update:

"We are excited to announce that PHANTOM-X has confirmed the new lineup. Kevin Goocher and Glenn Malicki will be joined by Richard Tull on guitar and Steve Nichols on drums.

"PHANTOM-X auditioned a lot of excellent musicians from bands such as KING DIAMOND, SOLITUDE AETURNUS. Richard Tull and Steve Nichols came in a blew us away. Richard has been featured in Guitar World, Recording, and Keyboard magazines as well as having licensed music for use by MTV Networks. Steve is a a heavy-hitting bad-ass who comes from SOLITUDE AETURNUS. (No worries, SOLITUDE fans, Nichols will be playing in both bands.)

"PHANTOM-X's new lineup will premier on August 23rd at O'Riley's in Dallas.

"PHANTOM-X goes in the studio next month to complete their third CD, entitled 'This Is War', which is slated to be released in February 2009 on Perris Records.

"PHANTOM-X will be touring in July of 2009, hitting several festivals along the tour."
